For pet parents who are headed out of town, we understand that it can be stressful to leave your pet – especially if they are ill, or when they are recovering from a procedure or surgery. At White House Animal Hospital, we want to help put your mind at ease.
We provide complete general boarding services for all of our patients and medical boarding services for pets with conditions that standard boarding centers may not be equipped to accommodate. We are proud to offer a comfortable, clean, calm facility for your dog or cat, where we’ll keep a close eye on your pet and keep them safe and well-cared for until your return.
Some of the amenities that your pet will enjoy include:
Every morning, the dogs go outside to our outdoor run for fresh air before breakfast. While they are outside, their kennels are cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with fresh linens.
Depending on their physical capacity and individual needs, we walk the dogs who stay with us on a regular schedule.
Your dog will be supervised throughout their entire stay with us – both during walks and while they rest. In the evening, dinner is served, and then we have one last walk before bedtime.
To ensure that your cat's home routine is not disrupted, they will be fed according to your specifications and their requirements.
We provide daily one-on-one interaction with kitties (if they want it!) including play, snuggles, and petting sessions. Litter boxes are checked, cleaned and disinfected periodically throughout the day.
Additionally, we refresh linens and clean your kitty's room daily. Our cat boarding area is separated from the dog area to ensure your kitty feels relaxed and safe while they stay with us.
Your pet will be supervised by our expert veterinarians and nurses, who will administer medications and watch over them closely. Any required medications will be administered to your pet on the same schedule they are used to at home.
We're serious animal lovers, and our whole team enjoys giving our four-legged guests all the attention and care they deserve while they're staying with us.

We've got everything your pet needs for a fun, recuperative and safe stay, including the following accommodations and amenities:
We have a large facility and are able to accommodate several animals at once, provided you give us sufficient notice.
Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to board family pets of the same species (canine/canine or feline/feline) together.
Our pricing is affordable and competitive, but boarding fees vary based on the duration of the stay, the size of the pet, and special medical requirements. Please reach out to us for a quote; we look forward to hearing from you!
All pets must be dropped off or picked up during regular office hours. To ensure there is space for your pet, we recommend making a reservation, especially for holidays and summer weekends. During these times, we recommend that you call 2-3 weeks in advance to increase the chance that a spot will be available.
Food: We provide food for pets staying with us. However, please feel free to bring enough of your pet's regular food to last the duration of the stay.
Medication: If your pet takes any medication, bring it along for our staff to administer.
Toys: If your pet has a favorite toy or two, bring them along.
We will be glad to administer your pet's medications while they are with us.
Of course! Feel free to call us during your pet's stay for updates. If there is a problem, we will contact you via the emergency contact information you provide.
Each animal is different, so in order to prepare for your pet's stay with us, we'll take the following steps to ensure that we can meet their unique needs.
Call us to book a reservation for your pet and to discuss details about their boarding needs. A member of our team will be happy to coordinate your booking.
Please note that, due to the nature of our accommodations, we do not accept dogs that have not been spayed or neutered. Pets must also be up to date with all vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks to stay at our facility.
We want to be absolutely sure that we are a good fit for your pet before an extended stay. The trial stay consists of a full day of daycare where we can take the time to assess your pet's temperament and make sure they fit in with the pack.
On the day you drop your pet off with us, there are a few steps you can take to help reduce any stress your pet may feel.
Spending some extra time with your pet beforehand, as well as making sure they play and/or exercise vigorously within their physical comfort level can help them feel calmer. When you arrive at our facility, try to stay calm, cheerful, and confident during the drop-off.
For pets that are not on a special diet, we can provide high-quality pet food that is appropriate for the size and breed of your pet. An additional fee may apply.
